DOUBLE SIDED TAPES

tesa 4970 is a 0.23mm thick double sided PVC tape. It has powerful adhesion and shear strength and adheres well to both smooth and rough surfaces. Plasticiser migration and U.V. light resistant.

Applications:

• Self adhesive converting of edging and trim to furniture and appliances.
• Providing self adhesive finish to plastic and rubber profiles.
• Permanent carpet laying, particularly in ‘high traffic’ areas.
• Mounting applications in high humidity areas e.g. bathrooms.
• Providing self adhesive finish to ‘hook and loop’ type material for display purposes.
• Attaching polyfilm to concrete surfaced walls for permanent enclosures in the asbestos abatement area.
